There are crochet patterns you simply make.
And there are patterns that draw you into their world from the very first row.
Trivia and Hekate belong to the latter.
The inspiration behind these shawls was the goddess of roads, crossroads, and the boundaries between worlds. In Roman mythology she is known as Trivia, while in Greek mythology she appears as Hekate. Two names, two faces, one energy. Mysterious, powerful, slightly dark, yet at the same time captivating and beautiful.
These shawls were created for people who enjoy not only crocheting itself, but also immersing themselves in the atmosphere of a project.
There is plenty of lace in both designs, making the shawls airy, lightweight, and perfect for the coming summer. You can throw one over your shoulders on a cooler evening, take it on a trip, or wrap yourself in it with your morning coffee. It is the kind of project you will want to return to, even after finishing the first version.
Both shawls are made of 8 sections and a border. They differ in details and a few rows that subtly change the overall character, giving each shawl its own unique mood.
The pattern is not difficult, but it does require the ability to work from crochet charts.
The package includes two patterns - Trivia and Hekate - prepared in English. Inside the file you will also find tester versions with technical details and photos of their shawls.
The shawls require approximately 1350–1600 m of yarn, depending on the yarn used, your tension, and the desired final size.
Please note: the pattern includes chart instructions only and does not contain written instructions.
The pattern will be delivered as a PDF file for self-printing.
